US Army veteran, Salathia M. Graham Tankuh was born in Savannah, Georgia but grew up in the Effingham County, Georgia area. She relocated to North Charleston, South Carolina in June of 2012 and took particular interest in bridging gaps in the community in the areas like health and education in addition to being a force behind African American and minority business. Established on November 4th 2015, #BLACKOUT Marketplace and Events has been a much needed platform to support small business owners in the Charleston area as well as the Lowcountry. It officially became an LLC on February 3rd, 2016 and has diligently served the community ever since.
